The LGBTQ Chorus of Long Beach seeks Executive Director.

South Coast Chorale begins search for its first Executive Director to help lead the organization into its next phase of growth.

LONG BEACH, August 24, 2021 — South Coast Chorale, the LGBTQ Chorus of Long Beach (SCC) is currently seeking a part-time Executive Director. Responsibilities include management of all non-artistic areas, audience and brand development, fundraising planning and execution, and community relations.

The South Coast Chorale is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community vocal ensemble that is dedicated to building bridges between communities by using music to remind us all that we are more alike than different.

Given organizational growth in recent years and a forthcoming renewed commitment to its mission, SCC’s Board of Directors is looking for an experienced and passionate individual to guide additional growth and add their own unique voice to the Chorale’s echoes of harmony and belonging.

“We are excited to take this important step as an arts nonprofit and increase our organizational capacity with this new position,” says Board President Tony Stokes. “In partnership with SCC’s Artistic Director, we look forward to our leadership team taking us into the next phase of growth, resulting in an even more powerful impact on the community through music.”
