DESCRIPTION:Monday\, August 19\, 2024\nWe are so excited to announce our auditions for our 35th Season with rehearsals starting on August 26th. Interested choristers should prepare a vocal selection that best demonstrates their vocal ability. You may perform your audition with or without accompaniment\, but we ask that in your preparations for an a cappella audition that you make sure to prepare your audition without any extended pauses between phrases. We are happy to provide you with an accompanist\, but we ask that you bring 2 copies of your music for the accompanist and our artistic director to follow along. Due to the anticipated number of auditionees\, we may ask you to only sing a portion of your prepared selection.  \nAuditions will be held on August 19th at our rehearsal facility\, First Congregational Church of Long Beach between 7:00-9:30 pm. \nIf our time slots fill up\, we will advise regarding an alternate audition date/time/location. \n			\n				Schedule Your Audition!\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				If you have any questions or need to schedule an alternate audition date\, please email sing@southcoastchorale.org.

DESCRIPTION:  \nMonday\, August 14\, 2023\nAuditions for our 2023-2024 season will take place on Monday\, August 14\, 2023. \nThe season will include a concert commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Matthew Shepard tragedy in the Fall\, a love-themed cabaret in the Spring\, and a Pride concert in July. \nSingers of all voice parts (Soprano\, Alto\, Tenor\, Bass)\, styles and experience levels are welcome and encouraged. Come ready to sing a song of your choice that shows off your voice and personality. Accompanist will be provided. \n \nPLEASE NOTE: all participants of the South Coast Chorale are required to be fully vaccinated. You will be asked to show proof of vaccination prior to entering the audition facility.
